I. Difference Between Faith & Belief.

A. Belief is based upon facts and proof.

B. Faith is believing beyond the facts and proof (Hebrews. 11: 1).

II. Believe In Jesus.

A. John 20: 24 - 31

1. Thomas would not believe without proof.

2. More blessed to believe without physical proof.

B. John 3: 14 - 18

1. Belief in Jesus brings eternal life.

2. Belief brings freedom from condemnation.

C. 1 John 5: 1 - 5

1. Believers are born of God.

2. Victory comes from believing Jesus is the Son of God.

III. Consequences Of Unbelief.

A. Mark 16: 15, 16

1. Belief and Baptism leads to salvation.

2. Unbelief leads to condemnation (John 3: 18).

B. 2 Thessalonians 2: 11, 12

1. Unbelief results in strong delusion sent by God.

2. Unbelief leads to believing the lie.

C. Hebrews 3: 12 - 19

1. Unbelief is the partner of an evil heart.

2. Hearing without belief is rebellion.

3. Unbelief leads to disobedience.

4. Unbelief leads to God's anger and judgment.
