Introduction:

A. Our lives are filled with choices.

1. What to eat.

2. What to wear.

3. Where to go.

B. Imagine you had to choose between:

1. $100,000 right now, free and clear.

2. Or, $1,000.00/month for 60 years with a final payment of $100,000,000.00.

C. What would you choose?

Body:

I. We Must Choose Who We Will Serve!

A. Are you serving God or other gods? [Joshua 24: 14, 15]

B. Are you serving sin or God? [Romans 6: 12 - 14]

C. Are you serving the flesh or the Spirit? [Romans 8: 5 - 8]

II. We Must Choose Who To Believe!

A. Are you listening to God or Satan? [Genesis 3: 1 - 5]

B. Are you listening to God or the scoffers? [2 Peter 3: 3 - 9]

III. We Must Choose Who To Follow!

A. Are you walking behind Jesus or a stranger? [John 10: 1 - 6]

B. Are you working for Jesus or self? [Matthew 4: 18 - 20]

C. Are you suffering for right or for wrong? [1Peter 2: 19 - 23]

Conclusion:

A. We have many choices to make.

1. Some are minor.

2. Some are extremely important.

3. Some we classify improperly.

B. Earlier Example - Spiritual Version.

1. We can enjoy all the pleasures this life has to offer.

2. We can enjoy the life now God offers and enjoy eternal life afterwards.
