Introduction:

A. The Pathway of Salvation.

1. Hear the Word of God.

2. Believe the Truth that Jesus is the Son of God.

3. Repent of Ungodliness.

4. Confess Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God, Lord and Savior.

5. Be Baptized.

B. This Is Not The End Of The Pathway.

l. Often lessons, teaching will have "come to a conclusion."

2. Actually, the journey and the teaching has just begun.

C. The Journey Involves "A New Mind."

Body:

I. Romans 12: 1, 2

A. A New Purpose.

1. Give yourself to God.

2. Please Him with the way you live.

B. A New Focus.

1. Don't try to be like the world.

2. Change by making your mind new.

3. This is the only way to understand what God wants.

II. Philippians 2: 3 - 8

A. A New Attitude.

1. Selfishness must no longer exist.

2. Be concerned about others' "success."

B. A New Role Model.

1. Be like Christ (...if you want Christ-like results)!

2. Placed Himself in subjection.

III. Colossians 3: 1 - 4

A. A New Look.

1. Pursue spiritual treasures.

2. Concentrate on heaven.

B. A New Life.

1. I no longer live (Galatians 2: 20).

2. A "Soul Protection Program."
