I. Salt Of The Earth.

A. Salt preserves.

1. Preserves the world from complete corruption.

2. Saves the world from destruction.

B. Salt enhances.

1. We make life more palatable.

2. Our words "hit the right spot" (Colossians 4: 6).

II. Light Of The World.

A. Light shows the way.

1. Shows the path upon which to walk.

2. Shows what is right and what is wrong.

3. Shows any obstacles in the way.

B. Light illuminates.

C. Light gives hope.

1. The light "at the end of the tunnel."

2. The welcoming of a lit porch light.

III. Shine Baby Shine!

A. Jesus Is The Light.

1. He is the light to the world (John 8: 12).

2. He has given us that light.

B. We Have Many Good Works To Do.

1. We are meant to be seen (a city on a hill).

2. Our good works bring praise to God.

Conclusion:

A. The Effect We Have On The World.

1. The world would be a miserable place without Christians.

2. The world would be a dark place without Christians.

3. The world would lack good works without Christians.
