3. It is eternally devastating to not know who Jesus is.

I. He Is The Christ.

A. Who Do The Crowds Say He Is?

1. John the Baptist.
2. Elijah.
3. Resurrected prophet.

B. Who Do The Disciples Say He Is?

1. The Christ of God.
2. Giver of the words of life (John 6: 68).

II. He Is The Sufferer.

A. Will suffer many things.

B. Will be rejected.

C. Will be killed.

D. Will rise the third day.

III. He Is The Leader.

A. "Follow the leader!?"

1. Deny self.
2. Take up humiliation and death (cross) daily.
3. Give up this life for Jesus.
4. Preserve your soul.

B. Who Do You Want To Know You?

1. Will Jesus be ashamed or accept you?
2. Will Satan be ashamed or accept you?

1. Jesus is the Christ (Messiah, Savior, One sent by God).

2. Jesus willingly suffered (persecuted, rejected, crucified).

3. Jesus is the Christian's leader (life, thoughts, attention).
