I. Jesus Before Pilate.

A. The mob takes Jesus to Pilate.

B. They accuse Jesus of many things.

1. He was perverting the nation.
2. He forbid the paying of taxes.
3. He made Himself to be King.

C. Pilate questions Jesus.

D. Pilate is unable to find fault.

E. More accusations are made.

1. He is stirring up the people.
2. He is teaching throughout all Judea.

II. Jesus Before Herod.

A. Jesus being a Galilean gives Herod jurisdiction.

B. Herod desired to see Jesus.

1. He had heard many things.
2. Wanted to see Jesus perform.

C. Jesus is silent.

D. Jesus is abused.

1. Treat Him with contempt.
2. Mock Him.
3. Put expensive clothing on Him.

E. Jesus is returned to Pilate.
