I. Pharisees For Jesus?

A. Follows teaching about few who enter the narrow gate.

B. Some Pharisees (Nicodemus, others).

C. Warn Jesus concerning Herod.

II. Jesus' Plans.

A. He will continue to cast out demons.

B. He will continue to heal.

C. He will be perfected (consecrated, fulfilled, will have finished, completed).

D. Will continue to travel, as well.

1. Jerusalem is His destination.
2. A prophet must not be killed outside of Jerusalem.
a. He is a prophet.
b. He is going to be killed.

III. Jesus Laments.

A. The "apple Of God's eye."

1. The place to which God sends prophets and others.
2. Kills and stones God's messengers.

B. Jesus' desire.

1. Wanted to take them "under His wing."
2. Wanted to protect and teach.

C. The future of Jerusalem.

1. House is left desolate.
2. Prophecy of blindness for Israel.
3. Must recognize Him as the Lord's messenger.
