I. God’s Promise.

A. An Oath.

1. Blessing He will bless.
2. Multiplying He will multiply

B. Proof Positive.

1. Two immutable things.
a. Used an oath.
b. Swore by Himself.
2. It is impossible for God to lie.
3. We have strong consolation.
a. Those who have fled for refuge.
b. Those who see the hope set before them.

II. Our Hope.

A. The hope of the promise.

1. God promised to bless Abraham and his heirs.
2. God promised to multiply Abraham and his heirs.
3. We are Abraham’s heirs (Galatians 3: 29).
4. If we patiently endure, we will be blessed.

B. An anchor of the soul.

1. It is both steadfast and sure.
2. It enters into the presence behind the veil.
3. This line into God’s presence is not to retrieve victim.
4. This line holds us close to God.

III. Our Forerunner.

A. Jesus.

B. He has entered behind the veil.

C. He is a High Priest forever.

1. Without beginning.
2. Without end.

Conclusion:

A. Jesus Has Provided Us With Hope.

B. Jesus Has Provided Us Access To The Promises.

C. Jesus Is Our Tie To God.
