I. A Rest To Come.

A. We will rest.

B. We will be like God.

C. Entrance requires diligence.

D. Disobedience disqualifies.

II. A Knowing God.

A. The Word of God.

1. The Holy Scriptures.
2. The Son of God.
a. Jesus is the Word (John 1: 1, 14).
b. He will be our judge (Matthew 25: 31, 32).

B. Sees all.

1. Able to divide the fine lines.
2. Knows our true heart (thoughts and intents).
3. Nothing is hidden.

C. We must give account.

III. A Sympathetic High Priest.

A. Jesus has passed through the heavens.

1. He came from heaven to live here on earth.
2. He left from earth to return to heaven.

B. He understands our weaknesses.

C. We can boldly approach Christ's throne! (Matthew 25: 31; 1 Corinthians 1: 4; Ephesians 4: 7)

1. So that we might obtain mercy.
2. So that we might obtain help in time of need.

Conclusion:

A. An All Knowing God And Savior.

1. Scary to those of the darkness.

2. Comforting to those basking in the light.
