B. We Have Arrived At A Good Place.

I. A Fearful Mountain.

A. A transformed location.

1. It burned with fire.
2. There was blackness and darkness and tempest.
3. The trumpet was blown.
4. God spoke.

B. An Apprehensive Reaction.

1. The people begged.
a. That God not speak to them.
b. They were unable to stand it.
2. Moses was afraid and trembled.

II. A Filled City.

A. The Place

1. Mount Zion.
2. The City of the living God.
3. The heavenly Jerusalem.

B. The People.

1. An innumerable company of angels.
2. The general assembly.
3. The church of the firstborn – those registered in heaven.
4. The spirits of just men made perfect.

C. The Hosts.

1. God – the Judge of all.
2. Jesus.
a. The Mediator of the new covenant.
b. The blood of the sprinkling.

Conclusion:

A. There Is No Reason To Fear.

1. We are not at risk of immediate death for disobedience.

2. We are not in the midst of a fearful presence.

B. We Have A Home Away From Home.
