1. The elders obtained a good testimony.

2. We understand the true origin of creation.

3. Abel worshipped correctly.

B. It Takes Faith To Please God.

I. Enoch.

A. Genesis 5: 21 – 24

1. Enoch walked with God.
2. He disappeared because God took him.

B. Jude 1: 14, 15

1. He prophesied.
2. The Lord will execute judgment on the ungodly.
a. Ungodly deeds committed in an ungodly way.
b. Hard or harsh things spoken against God.

C. Hebrews 11: 5

1. Did not see death.
2. He pleased God.

II. Pleasing God.

A. Impossible without faith.

1. Faith brings us to God.
2. Faith keeps us with God.

B. Must believe He is.

1. Cannot please Him if you do not believe in Him.
2. Must come to God believing He exists.

C. Must believe He rewards those who diligently seek Him.

1. God can and wants to be found.
2. God keeps His promises.
3. He is faithful.

Conclusion:

A. Are You Pleasing God?

1. Do you believe that God exists?

2. Do you believe that God rewards those who diligently seek Him?

3. Are you walking with God?
