b. Change from one family to another?
c. Did not know Joseph!
2. Worry about Israelites (1: 9 – 10).
a. They were multiplying and growing rapidly.
b. Feared they would become conquerors.
3. Midwives commanded to kill male babies (1: 16).
a. They feared God.
b. God dealt well with them.

B. A Son.

1. Moses was not the firstborn.
2. He was beautiful.
a. Childhood beauty was thought to be evidence of favor by God.
b. He was a good baby (Acts 7: 20).
3. Hid him for three months.
4. Placed him in a small boat on the river.
5. Found and loved by Pharaoh’s daughter.
6. Moses means "drawn out."

II. Hidden By Faith.

A. The faith of Amram and Jochebed.

1. Hid Moses as long as they could.
2. Placed him in a boat on the river.
3. Mother nursed him.
4. Trusted him to make the right choice.

B. Did not fear Pharaoh.

Conclusion:

A. The Faithful Parents Of Moses.

1. Disobeyed an evil command.

2. Trusted God to protect their son.
