Introduction:

A. Who Are You?

1. Are you only now by your name?

2. Are you known by what work you do?

3. Are you known by how you live?

B. Are You A Christian?

Body: Colossians 1: 19 - 23

I. We Are Reconciled.

A. All the fullness dwells in Christ.

1. Spoke through various people in the past (Hebrews 1: 1 - 3).
2. Not all things revealed to others.

B. Peace is through His blood.

1. Sin separated us.
2. A horrible stench and filth revolting to God.

C. Formerly alienated by mind full fo wicked works.

1. Our minds were not right.
2. Our works were wicked - not done in right mind.

II. A People For God.

A. We are to be holy.

1. Ceremonially pure - sacred.
2. Morally pure - consecrated.

B. We are to be blameless.

1. Not held accountable.
2. Guilt and blame cannot be associated with us.

C. We are to be above reproach.

1. Avoiding the appearance of evil.
2. Cannot be accused.

III. We Must Continue.

A. In the faith.

1. Grounded - place where you live, where your belongings are.
2. Steadfast - sedentary, immoveable, not going anywhere..

B. In the hope.

1. Do not move away from this hope.
2. The gospel gives this hope.

Conclusion:

A. Christ Died...

1. To make you holy and blameless.

2. To reconcile you to God.
