1. Nothing.

2. Or, the power to make a difference.

I. A Life Of Need.

A. A crippled man.

1. Lame from birth.
2. Unable to work or fend for himself.

B. Many needs.

1. The need for sustenance: food, water, etc.
2. The need for debts; medical, housing, transportation, etc.

C. Help in hand.

1. Peter and John did not have any money (typical preachers!).
2. Had the ability to help him provide for himself.

II. The Words Of Jesus (Matthew 7: 6 – 12).

A. Give what is needed.

1. Don’t give jewelry to someone who needs clothing or food.
2. Don’t give tracts to someone needing friendship.
3. Pay attention to needs and the ones needing.

B. Opportunities require pursuit.

1. We have to ask for opportunities.
2. We have to seek opportunities.
3. We have to knock for opportunities.

C. God will give us opportunities.

D. Do unto others.

1. If that was you, how would you want to be treated?
2. If that was you, how would you act?

Conclusion:

A. This Holiday Season…

1. Give of your time and friendship to those forgotten.

2. Give of your things to those who lack.

3. Give of your devotion to God Who deserves it.
