1. Might it be the last?

2. Will the Lord come before the coming of another year?

I. Will People Be Looking?

A. It will come as a thief.

B. It will be unexpected.

C. It will be a time when "the majority" have turned away from God.

II. The People of God.

A. Understand the nature of "the Day of the Lord."

1. It is the coming judgment of God upon the ungodly.
2. It is a day when all is purified and cleansed.
3. It is a day when the old will pass away and the new will come.

B. Prepare for His coming.

1. They are people of holy conduct [conversation].
2. They are godly people.
3. They are looking for the day of the Lord.

C. They are diligent.

1. Diligently found to be in peace.
2. Diligently found to be without spot.
3. Diligently found to be blameless.

Conclusion:

A. Is This The End?

1. I do not know.

2. I do not want to be unprepared if it is.

B. How About You?

1. Are you ready?

2. Do you want the Lord to come right now?

3. Would you rather He waited until "you accomplished some things?"
