A. Be sober - rational, in-control, thinking.

B. Be vigilant - watchful, careful, looking out.

C. Our Adversary.

1. How many animals does a roaring lion catch?

2. Puts on a show of strength.

a. Tries to scare.

b. We have the image of the Lion of Judah.

3. Wants to destroy.

4. Resist - stand up to him, fight back.

a. Takes a steadfast faith.

b. Remember you are not alone.

c. He will flee from you (James 4: 7).

Conclusion:

1. Trust and depend upon God.

2. Follow and obey His commands.
