I. The Fiery Trial.

A. It is not something strange.

B. Rejoice in suffering

1. We will have exceeding joy.
2. We will be blessed.
3. We bring glory to Christ.
4. We are to glorify God.

II. The Present Judgment.

A. Suffering for evil - kill, steal, is evil or meddle.

B. The time for judgment.

1. The recompense for or condemnation of wrongdoing.
2. Start with "the best" continue to "the worst."
a. The righteous - saved but difficulty involved.
b. The unrighteous - do not obey, are not saved.

III. Attitude In Suffering.

A. It is the will of God.

1. God is in control.
2. Good is being accomplished.

B. Commit souls to Him.

1. It is the only way to be saved.
2. It involves doing good.
3. He is faithful [2 Timothy 1: 12].
