2. Darkness wants to extinguish the light.

II. How To Suffer?

A. Do not be afraid or troubled.

1. Suffering for righteousness is a blessing.
2. Realize the extent of their power.

B. Sanctify God in your heart.

1. Render or acknowledge Him as holy.
2. Purify or consecrate Him.

C. Be ready to defend.

l. You have hope.
2. Must have the answer.
3. Must be given meekly - with gentle fervor.
4. Must be respectful of God.

D. Have a good conscience.

1. A good conscience comes from good conduct.
2. Good conduct shames "bad-mouthers."

III. The Better Part?
